Many of my works hang on the walls of celebrities, captains of industry and academia, from Beverly Hills, Coeur d'Alene, Chicago, Cape Cod, Pasadena, Minneapolis, New York, Connecticut, Idaho, and Texas. A two time Academy Award winner can be counted among my many patrons.
Americana primitive folk art has been a passion of mine since childhood. I grew up in the northwest corner of the San Fernando Valley near Los Angeles. This area was an enclave of many ranches and farms that once belonged to the famous and not so famous from the Golden Era of old Hollywood. I remember Lucy and Desi's long white fenced driveway and the Spanish hacienda that once belonged to Veronica Lake. The old actor, John Carroll, lived across the street from us in a southern colonial complete with a ballroom, racetrack and stables. Along with these beautiful properties, that which was on the inside was also wonderful and charming. From their barns, stables, fences and grounds to their interiors they were truly world class. In my work I draw from my past and the experience from things and views that I have enjoyed in my life that make me happy. I hope they make you happy too!
