Larry is from Houston Texas and has been an artist since elementary school. Encouraged by his Mother, who is also an artist, he continued with his art through high school and college. After receiving his degree in architecture, he was able to incorporate and express his artistic abilities in architectural renderings during his profession as an architect. Taking a break from architecture, Larry pursued a music career with his twin brother. When he wasn't performing he continued painting scenes from his travels around Texas. Houston-based Transco Oil Company purchased ten originals to hang in their corporate offices at the Galleria. Soon after, Larry was showing in a well-known gallery in Houston. Several oil companies, doctors, dentists and many professionals own his original paintings. Larry was also commissioned by a CEO of an international oil related company to do a mural-sized painting of his ranch in West Texas. He later returned to architecture designing major projects such as high rise commercial projects, condominiums, retail stores, schools and hotels while continuing to develop his art skills with illustrations. Larry still composes and sings Country and Gospel music and occasionally leads music at church. He hopes his art is inspiring by capturing the beauty that God created for us to enjoy, and by seeing His Glory in nature. You'll find a scripture verse under his signature in his paintings.
